The exceptionally talented Country artist Cheryl Wheeler has released her CD entitled Defying Gravity. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Cheryl Wheeler fans, and Country fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Defying Gravity Cheryl Wheeler’s artistic excellence is on full display as Wheeler has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be her best work to date. Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
Cheryl Wheeler possesses the characteristic of being able to win you over with her talent alone. The kind of artist I really enjoy listening to.
I’m of the opinion that Defying Gravity is certainly Cheryl Wheeler’s best work in a few years. A totally enjoyable CD and an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up because it’s a collection that even the casual Country fan can appreciate and enjoy.
While this entire album is outstanding the truly standout tunes are track 1 - Since You've Been Gone, track 3 - Must Be Sinking Now, and track 5 - Summers Almost Over.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 12 - On The Plane. Good stuff!
