The exceptionally talented Pop artist Kathy Mattea has released her CD entitled Right Out Of Nowhere. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Kathy Mattea fans, and Pop fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Right Out Of Nowhere Kathy Mattea’s artistic excellence is on full display as Mattea has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be her best work to date. Unfortunately, it’s not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Right Out Of Nowhere. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
Pop music fans will recognize some of the well known contributors on the project including Jim Brock and Bill Cooley plus a few other notables as well.
Overall Right Out Of Nowhere is outstanding from beginning to end. One of those CDs that after a few listens the songs are just etched into your memory. A must have for the Pop fan. Really sensational from beginning to end.
While this entire album is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 1 - Right Outta Nowhere, track 4 - Love's Not Through With Me Yet, and track 7 - I Hope You're Happy Now.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 5 - Loving You Letting You Go. Great track!
