The extremely talented Rock artist Steve Forbert has released him most recent CD on the Koch Records recording label, entitled Just Like Theres Nothin To It. Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
Steve Forbert possesses the characteristic of being able to win you over with him talent alone. The kind of artist I really enjoy listening to.
I’m of the opinion that Just Like Theres Nothin To It is certainly Steve Forbert’s best work in a few years. A totally enjoyable CD and an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up because it’s a collection that even the casual Rock fan can appreciate and enjoy.
While the entire album is outstanding some of my favorites are track 1 - What It Is Is A Dream, track 4 - The World Is Ful Of People, and track 12 - About A Dream
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 7 - Theres Everybody Else. Wow!
