Tim Mcgraw Place In The Sun Contemporary Country Music CD Review
By: CLYDE LEE DENNIS

The super talented Contemporary Country artist Tim Mcgraw has released him latest CD on the Curb Records recording label, entitled Place In The Sun.

Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Place In The Sun has a pleasantly varied, mix of 14 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly gifted artist. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are him own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.

I’m of the opinion that Place In The Sun is certainly Tim Mcgraw’s best work in a few years. A totally enjoyable CD and an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up because it’s a collection that even the casual Contemporary Country fan can appreciate and enjoy.

While this entire CD is outstanding some of my favorites are track 1 - The Trouble With Never, track 7 - Some Things Never Change, and track 14 - A Place In The Sun

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 4 - Somebody Must Be Prayin For Me. Good stuff!
